GRIEF
No two journeys through grief are exactly alike. While we each need to find our way on our new (and-totally-not-asked-for) path, that road of grief and loss has been traveled by many (everyone, technically) who came before us. Here are some folks who’ve written about it.
Grief can scramble our brains. It can make it challenging to concentrate. Easy to lose our tempers. Hard to get off the floor. It can feel impossible to connect with and be understood by others - even our closest friends and family. Yeah, especially our closest friends and family.
Here are some companions that can support us in peeking into the dark, wild spaces of grief.
While these may be good for folks who are grieving, these are especially good for folks who are supporting someone through loss. If that’s you, know that one of the most loving things you can do is educate yourself about grief.
