Love and Rage
"Your rage is sacred. It is not the enemy—it is a teacher." - Lama Rod Owens
Rooted in Buddhist wisdom, Black radical tradition, and his own lived experience, Lama Rod guides us through the work of transforming rage into clarity, love, and action. He invites us to honor our pain without being consumed by it. To wake up to cycles of harm, and do our part to break them. To wield our anger as a force for healing and liberation - in service of justice.
Practice helps clarify the work we need to do. The collective, and the personal. It gives us the courage to slow down. Listen. Tend to what’s arising in our hearts and bodies. Practice invites us to feel and process our stuff, so that when we do take action we’ve got the eyes to see and the ears to hear what’s most beneficial. What’s needed.
Lama Rod has a monthly online community practice every 1st Thursday of the month. It’s dope. And it’s a chance to practice together, and build spiritual resiliency for the long road ahead.
